Mark Botha – Director

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our business to you. I have been in the Insurance Reinstatement industry in New Zealand for 19 years and in my own business in the industry for the past 10 years. Having spent about 10 years in South Africa doing structural repairs to subsided homes for a number of insurer’s, I joined the industry in New Zealand in 2002 as an estimator. Through the years of being in the industry, I have gained extensive knowledge of the claims process, specializing in resolving difficult claims. I have established relationships with loss adjusters and claims handlers, offering them a level of service they expect and deserve. I have experience doing large losses, both domestic and commercial. I have spent the past 10 years listening to the industry and adapting the processes within our business to best serve the demands of the industry. My company now consists of a Business Manager, a full time Office Administrator, a full time Estimator, Accounts person, Project Manager, builders, a full time plasterer and a team of Sub Contractors.


Troy Loch – Business Manager

Emigrating from South Africa, where I managed a large hotel team, I have spent the last 10 years in facility operations and maintenance in New Zealand.

I bring those 10 years of Nz Experience to Reinst8 IT managing contractors, supervising staff and working alongside management refurbishing, rebuilding and maintaining office spaces, apartments and houses.  Also establishing lasting relationships with all concerned along the way.

As a Business Manager for Reinst8 IT, I endeavor to guide the team to be more effective and efficient and to produce reliable results that are beyond expectation.  My goal for our team is to get a quality job done quickly with attention to detail and with a conscientious attitude.


Marko – Estimator & Supervising Builder

Marko joined our team in 2016 and has worked his way up as a Builder to Estimator in his time with us thus far. He has many years of experience as a builder in South Africa and New Zealand. In his career he has gained essential skills and knowledge within the construction industry. He is a great communicator, hard working and always ready to help when approached. In his time with us he has shown great leadership and team management skills with a strong drive for safety.


Claire – Project Manager

Claire joined our team at the beginning of 2016 as our project coordinator. She has quickly learnt the responsibilities of project management and now successfully manages both small and large reinstatement projects. She has great communication skills and understands the need to build relationships with not only our insurance assessors but the clients themselves. She deals with our contractors and staff with a high level of clear instruction. She enjoys working in the building industry and quickly deals with issues as they arise. She takes care of all accepted works, sourcing of materials and coordinating of subcontractors. She has proven to be capable and trustworthy.


Rachel – Office Administrator

Rachel joined our team at the start of 2020 as our Office Administrator. She ensures the office is run smoothly by maintaining office procedures/ administrative systems. She provides support and works alongside our estimators and project manager.  She has taken to this role quickly and has proven to be efficient, reliable and has great attention to detail. Rachel started with us with little to no knowledge of the building industry but now knows what a nog is!


Rudi – Cabinet Manager

To whom ever is reading this I would like to extend to you a warm welcome to The Cabinet Guys and Reinst8it, we are a close nit  dynamic family team who strive to provide our customers with the best service possible with market competitive pricing and professionalism.
My name is Rudi  Visser and I proudly wear the title of the Cabinet Guys Manager.
I have been in the industry for most of my life earning my stripes back in South Africa at my father’s wood veneering factory from the age of 17, where I learnt about furniture making, cabinet manufacturing and kitchen design, also gaining a vast knowledge of wood veneer and all its uses.
I then went on to hold the position of floor manager and ran the whole cabinet shop and cut and edge division, where we manufactured and installed high end custom made veneer cabinetry and kitchens. After a period of time I branched out and took the leap to start my own company, offering my own “Rustic Modern” style to clients and new kitchen rebuilds.
I have now been in New Zealand for a total of 5 years and have a NZQF Level 4 in cabinetry making and kitchen manufacturing.
